heat treatment
Gr1 titanium foil can be heat treated by annealing to optimize toughness and ductility. The annealing temperature is typically in the range of 704-815°C.
machining and welding
Gr1 titanium foil has good processability and is suitable for cold working. However, due to the high chemical activity of titanium, the welding process needs to be carried out in a protective gas environment to avoid oxidation and nitriding.
Application
Due to its excellent corrosion resistance, Gr1 titanium foil is widely used in the following fields:
chemical processing: used for corrosion-resistant equipment.
Offshore Engineering: Equipment used in seawater environments.
medical equipment: such as implants and medical devices.
