Inconel 718
Inconel 718
Common Trade Names: Inconel 718, Alloy 718, Nickel 718Nicrofer5219,Alvac718, Haynes 718Altemp718.
INCONEL® alloy 718 (UNS N07718/W.Nr. 2.4668) is a high-strength, corrosion-resistant nickel chromium material used at -423° to 1300°F.
The age-hardenablealloy can be readily fabricated, even into complex parts. Its welding characteristics, especially its resistancepostweldcracking, are outstanding. The ease and economy with which INCONEL® alloy 718 can be fabricated, combined with good tensile, fatigue, creep, and rupture strength, have resulted in its use in a wide range of applications. Examples of these are components for liquid fueled rockets, rings, casings and various formed sheet metal parts for aircraft and land-based gas turbine engines, and cryogenic tankage. It is also used for fasteners and instrumentation parts.

GH4169 alloy has the following properties:
1. Easy processability
2. High tensile strength, fatigue strength, creep strength and fracture strength at 700°C
3. High oxidation resistance at 1000°C
4. Stable chemical properties at low temperatures
5. Good welding performance
Metallographic structure of GH4169:
GH4169 alloy is austenitic structure, and the γ" phase generated after precipitation hardening gives it excellent mechanical properties. The δ phase generated at the grain boundary during heat treatment gives it the best plasticity.
Corrosion resistance of GH4169:
GH4169 alloy has excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking and pitting in both high and low temperature environments, especially at high temperatures.
GH4169 Application areas of application are.
Due to its high temperature strength and excellent corrosion resistance and easy processability at 700°C, GH4169 can be widely used in a variety of demanding applications.
